Q: How is the CAD categories on this website divided with regards to membership? 

• Currently, there are 4 (four) CAD categories on CAD-Architect.net. They are: CAD Symbols, CAD Details, CAD Drawings & CAD Building types. Also four paid memberships currently exists. Plastic members have access to CAD Symbols only, Gold members have access to Colour CAD Symbols, details & drawings , Platinum members have access to CAD details & drawings, Building design templates & Architects Contracts. The VIP Diamond membership gives users access to all the content on this website.

Q: Can I open the files on this website with any version of AutoCAD software? 

• If you have a version of AutoCAD which is older than AutoCAD 2007, Autodesk now offers FREE software which converts / translates newer AutoCAD version files eg. AutoCAD 2007, 2008 & 2009 to older format files as old as AutoCAD R14 or AutoCAD 2000.
  Thus, with Autodesk's FREE DWG TrueConvert software you can now convert all the AutoCAD 2007 files on this website to older format DWG files for use in your version (all versions) of AutoCAD.  FREE Download from Autodesk website

Q: For how long is the membership valid? 

• Memberships are valid for 1-6 months, depending on membership type, during which time you can download as many files as you like depending on your membership type. (Please note: The downloaded files may not be re-sold or re-published on other websites or in another way)

Q: Will there be more content added in the future and how frequently are new CAD files added to the website? 

• New content gets added to the site frequently, usually on a daily to weekly basis, thus becoming a member entitles you to three months of new content as well as the current content at the time of subscribing. We endeavor to add at least 50 new cad or other files to our website each month.

Q: What are the advantages of becoming a 'Plastic member' of CAD Architect? 

• For an extremely low price, plastic members gets full access to more than 2500 very professional AutoCAD symbols in ACAD 2007 format to download and use ‘as is’ or modify in which ever way they want. Such symbol packages could easily cost up to $120 on other CAD content selling websites. Take some time to browse other websites to see what they offer….but please come back soon!

Q: What are the advantages of becoming a 'Gold member' of CAD Architect? 

• Gold members have full access to the professional Colour CAD Symbols, details & drawings sections on the website. We feel this service is unique and is nowhere else to be found on the web. New content gets added to the site frequently, usually on a daily to weekly basis, thus becoming a member entitles you to one month of new content as well as the current content at the time of subscribing.

Q: What are the advantages of becoming a 'Platinum member' of CAD Architect?

• Platinum members have full access to all the CAD Details, Drawings & Building design templates on this website as well as all the contracts & documents available for download as used typically in the industry. Gaining access to this vast database of CAD files and various other information puts the user at a huge advantage when designing his new building as a lot can be learned from the various types of building designs available! Many new details, drawings & templates are added on a weekly basis.

Q: What are the advantages of becoming a 'VIP Diamond member' of CAD Architect?

• The Diamond members are the VIPs of this website. Diamond members have full access to all that this website has to offer, and we feel that is a lot! We constantly endeavor to make the Diamond section a very exclusive one stop information haven with a wealth of tools, documents and drawings of great use to the architect, CAD draughtsman, interior designer or similar professional.

Q: What are the advantages of purchasing a '1 DAY ALL ACCESS PASS' from CAD Architect?

• The brand new ‘1 DAY ALL ACCESS PASS’ is designed for users who are looking for specific file(s) but does not necessarily want to become a member of the CAD Architect website. This pass is extremely useful and affordable for getting that specific CAD file(s) you are looking for without the costs of a longer time membership. The ‘1 DAY ALL ACCESS PASS’ gives a user access to all the files on the website available to download, but is available for 24 hours only with a limit of 50 file downloads.

Q: What are my rights with regards to the use of the CAD files on this website?

Q: Do you offer refunds, should I not be happy with my membership? 

• Due to the non-returnable nature of our digital CAD products and our what-you-see-is-what-you-get-system, we regret that we unfortunately cannot refund any memberships, we will however, gladly try our utmost to provide you with the best possible user experience in providing you with fast & efficient email support and even trying to source a specific drawing or file you might be interested in.

Q: What support do you offer? 

• We offer fast & efficient email support always within 8 hours but usually in much less time depending on your time zone. We constantly strive to provide our members with the best possible user experience.  

Q: What are CAD Architect’s plans for the future? 

• Future categories and membership types are anticipated depending on the demand. We are also very interested in introducing a REVIT architecture component to the website as we currently have over 2500 Revit family types and drawings.
